Here are some of the main organizations that are going to be strongly mentioned throughout the whole series. Please keep in mind that some of these organizations might be changed over time, and there might be some that might just end up disappering throughout the story.
Goals: To aquire some of the strongest Mystics and join their powers to save the human race.
Founder: Shin Lotus
When Founded: Around the 1400s
Clan mainly involed: Mostly all Mystic. So far only one Wind clan member.
History/Reason of establishment: Shin Lotus lived before the time the Hunters began their quest of Mystic genocide. He, too, was a Mystic, yet hated life in Elesmere and vowed never return there as long as he lived. When he first came to our world he met a young man that was a Mystic as well. The man was in a panic and began to stuble and yell 'The Hunters are coming!' A small group of young hunters came. But before they could do anything, The man yelled and a sonic wave blew them away.
From that point, Shin gave the man the immortality, which was his Mystic gift. He dedicated the rest of his life to gather some of the strongest Mystics that came to our world. Over the years, he gathered a total of ten members who were: Luna, Sam, Lucas, Ramintio, Coco, Lam, Cici, Mark, Dani, and the newest member Margaret.
Goals: To eradicate all human life and rule the world under claim of the Mystic Clan.
Founder: No one really knows for sure, since it was established by four-year olds. A lot of them.
When Founded: Around the early 1800s
Clan mainly involed: The Mystic children sent through portals when the hunt for their clan first began.
History/Reason of establishment: Large numbers of unbranded Mystic children, and babies were sent through portals on Elesmere to avoid the Hunters. There was one older male, twelve years old, who went with them to oversee things till the others arrived by foot. These portals were supposed to lead to a safe house the Mystics had built years ago during the first war. They didn't. A dimensional warp called a "fold" had occured only a day before, and most ended up in the Forbidden City, China.
They were captured, since babies popping out of thin air is obviously strange, and jailed under the accusation of "witch craft." They were sentenced to die, but the twelve year old's power was to keep the dead from actually dying. This meant that the babies survived, but were kicked out of the city, and left to die in the woods. They survived, their hate for humans strong. Since they all agreed on one purpose, they formed the Organization together.
Goals: To eliminate the Mystics
Founder: The board of advisors for the Element Clans
When Founded: Only 12 years ago
Clan mainly involed: Fire, Earth, Wind, Sand, Water, and the Ice.
History/Reason of establishment: Twelve years ago, when the Emperer of the Mystic clan had first discovered a dimensional warp called a Fold, he sent forth a messanger to tell of his discovery to the other clans. He sent his best messanger, a female, went by the name of Eodis. She successfully delivered her message to the Clan of Ice, but due to a horrible storm, she was offered a place to stay for the night. As she was preparing for bed, a soilder who had just gotten off duty, came up behind her, and tried to take advantage of her.
After struggling in vain, her muscles sore and tired, she accepted her fate, though in her mind, she pictured the soilder's bones snapping, each and every one, slowly. Then his veins would burst, one by one. And at the end, he would spontaneously combust into flame, but death would not come. Only until he was a pile of ashes, would he finally be allowed the blessing of death. Her thoughts became so strong, that before her very eyes, the soilder doubled over in obvious pain, clutching his sides and howling in anguish. Then, it happened, he burst into flame and settled into a pile of ashes. The ashes gave one last shuddered breath, then lay still.
A little more than shocked, and not knowing what to do, Eodis laughed.
Since it was a breach in the treaty made three thousand years ago, the Concil agreed that the Mystics would have to be wipped off the face of Elesmere, or doom would come upon them all. And so the Hunters were born.
